Welcome back!
I'm excited to start a new term and a new year of art making in the classroom.
We are beginning 2022 with a celebration of the James Webb Space Telescope. All week the students will be creating images of what they think the JWST might see on its mission out in space.
The Year 1/2 students have created wax resist drawings of solar systems which include glittery space dust! We watched a short video about cosmic dust, then used sand and glitter to represent cosmic dust particles in our drawings.
