Celebrating 150 Years

This year, our first sesquicentenary (150th) community event is a Long Lunch along the Myrniong Driveway on the first Saturday in March.  This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together – with current and past families – and truly recognise this momentous milestone.  With well over 100 guests already registered, it promises to be a fabulous afternoon of beautiful food, music and memories under the Myrniong oak trees.

Jen Hutton, Rosie Mercer, Keri Ross and Megan Mould have done an incredible job to create this special event and it is going to be one that will be remembered for many years!

Please book your seat at the table today. The details are:

Feel free to call 03 5572 1355 if you have any questions or would like to book over the phone.

Trine and I look forward to enjoying this wonderful occasion with you.

Update on Federal Government school funding issues

Many parents would have seen the important story in The Weekly Times this week about the negative impact of changes to Federal Government schools funding policy on independent regional schools, including ours.

We are a part of a coalition of adversely impacted regional Independent schools urging the Federal Government to rectify this unfair policy.

We will keep local families informed as we receive more information from the Federal Government. Repeated efforts by us and other impacted schools have so far not resulted in any policy change and we urge you to use your own networks to push for the Federal Government to address our concerns and ensure choice in non-government education across regional Australia.

You can read The Weekly Times story here and learn more about our concerns about this policy change at www.crisa.org.au

Thank you for your ongoing support.
