Armidale Diocesan Basketball Trials
St Joseph’s was proudly represented at the Armidale Diocesan Basketball Trials by 8 very capable Year 6 basketball players. All students reported that their participation was a great opportunity to learn new skills and make new friends. From these trails congratulations goes to Tom Pietsch and Chilli Teinaki who gained selection in the Diocesan Open Boys Basketball team, while Allegra Pinferi was named as shadow reserve for the Open Girls team. We wish these students well for the Polding Trials, which will be held in Tamworth next Friday 25th February.

Swimming Carnival
Thank you students for your amazing participation and energetic cheering. The smiles on your faces was very rewarding. Thank you to our ever reliable band of parents, who supported the carnival; whether it was timekeeping, marshalling, starting, helping in the water, lifeguarding or cheering and encouraging; your support was invaluable.
Thank you to the Glen Innes Swim Club and the pool staff for allowing us to use such wonderful facilities and resources. Thank you to Mr Troy Arandale & Mrs Tracey McShane, who put in numerous hours behind the scene finalising nominations and the program for the day. Thank you to Tracey McShane for her expertise in recording through the Meet Manager system.
CONGRATULATIONS to Mylie and Bobby for leading Penola to victory! 8 students are now eligible to attend the Armidale Diocesan Swimming Carnival in Gunnedah on Thursday 24th February.
