Busy start to the year.

It's great that the children have all come into the library to borrow books and it was especially wonderful to see our Kinders visit. They were so excited to borrow and we want this excitement to continue throughout their life. Our aim in the library is for all children to be a reader and our library will foster a love of reading. Please encourage your child to borrow each week and be organised by remembering to return their book so they can borrow new ones.

Random Act of Kindness

Today is Random Act of Kindness Day. This is a day where we can show unexpected joy to those that least expect it. Kindness can be celebrated everyday not just today. Kinder and Stage 1 have read some beautiful books. Lets make every day a Kindness day.

How can we show Kindness?

Unique ways for you to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day:

•Let somebody go first.

• Help a friend with their work.

• Ask somebody who is by themselves to come and play.

• Let somebody go in front of you in a line.

• Bring flowers for a grown-up.

• Hold the door open for somebody.

• Give somebody a hug.

• Give some toys to a charity shop.

• Pick up litter

.• Make a new friend.

• Smile at people.

• Feed the birds in the garden.

• Give a compliment to someone.

• Send a postcard to a friend.
