QUARRY PARK TREE PLANTING

Bicycle Network

Over 120 students from 12 classes across the College helped plant over 300 plants on Thursday 5 September.

All plants are endemic to the area and were carefully grown by Horticulture students over the last two school terms. The plants are part of the brand new mountain bike track located behind the school in Quarry Park. Horticulture classes have teamed up with the local Park Ranger and Maribyrnong City Council to cultivate plants, learn about local flora and fauna and help with the new world class track.

The day was featured in the Star Weekly with Year 12 students, Ruth and Kelsea, showing off their skills.
