ICAS Medal winner

The ICAS medal winners for 2022 have been announced. Students with the top score in each year level and subject are awarded a medal. Students must have sat the relevant ICAS assessments, and the result must be judged as sufficiently meritorious to be eligible for a medal. We are very proud to announce that Year Ten student Olivia North (Camfield) was awarded an ICAS medal for Writing.

Congratulations to Olivia!

The Real Inspector Hound

Year Ten Drama students were preparing for a 30-minute portion of the first half of The Real Inspector Hound. There was great enthusiasm from students, parents, and drama teacher, Miss Katie Gunning to perform this show in its entirety. The Spectrum Committee was supportive and six shows over two weekends were agreed upon. A key focus of the collaboration with Spectrum has been ensuring the students have a hand in every element of the play-making process. Three Year Tens and two Year Eights have enthusiastically been helping out backstage throughout the production. Flynn Huntley has been trained in lighting, Chelsea Evans has trained in sound, River Waters has trained in props and Venja Ruggera is a stagehand. Every single student helped out with set building, costume, and makeup. This has been a brilliant experience bringing enthusiastic students and experienced volunteers together. Tickets are still available through Paperbark for the production.
