Principal's Message

Thank you to our community for your support and being calm and patient when picking up students and in ensuring the safety of our students on Monday. It was an eventful day!

Wide brimmed school hats - Hats are to be worn at all times when students are playing outside during lunch, recess and sport. Students will be asked to play under the COLA or go to the library if they do not have a hat. School hats are available to purchase at the school office. Please ensure your child's name is clearly marked on their hat.

Permission notes - We are nearly at the end of week 6 and it is getting extremely busy at school organising end of year functions. Please ensure if a permission note comes home for you to sign that they are completed and sent back to school promptly. 

School Captain speeches - On Tuesday we will be holding 2023 school captain speeches and voting. We have 11 boys and 16 girls. I am looking forward to hearing their speeches and how they are going to lead Eglinton in 2023. 

I am looking forward to meeting our new Kindergarten parents on Wednesday 23 November at our Kindergarten Parent Information night. This night will give new parents all the information they need for their child to commence school at Eglinton in 2023. Kindergarten orientation will commence on Monday 28 November (week 8). If you know of anyone who has a child due to start Kindergarten in 2023 please ask them to contact the school.
