Naomi VanDenBerghe Joins National Youth Science Forum

A massive congratulations to Year 11 Naomi VanDenBerghe for being invited to join the National Youth Science Forum. Starting her application process back in June, Naomi went through rigorous examination. Leading to a panel interview in which she presented her speech on "Using quantum mechanics to make nuclear fusion". Paul Wilson, long-time St Philip's College member (30+ years) and a member of the local The Rotary Club of Alice Springs-Mbantua, presented Naomi will her scholarship.

The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is a not-for-profit organisation that runs a number of programs to encourage young people in their passion for science and to inspire young Australians to value science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and its importance in our communities. The Rotary Club of Alice Springs - Mbantua has very kindly agreed to cover the program cost.

Congratulations Naomi VanDenBerghe and all the very best.
