Residential Boarding Supervisor, Girls' Boarding 

Commencing the 2023 academic year, St Philip’s College is seeking to fill a position of full-time Residential Boarding Supervisor in the Girls’ Boarding House.  The primary role is to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of boarding students.

 

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be available to work various evening shifts Monday to Friday and various weekend shifts, on a rotational basis. This position will be working in Girls' Boarding. 

 

Essential: 

  • Previous experience working with young people in a boarding environment 
  • High level of interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to be respectful, firm, fair, and consistent in the delivery of discipline when required
  • Understanding of the legal and duty of care responsibilities of boarding facilities or schools
  • Possess a flexible attitude and be willing to work rotating shifts throughout the week
  • Current driving licence would be an advantage
  • First Aid Certificate, or prepared to obtain
  • A valid Working with Children (Ochre Card) or the ability to obtain

Desirable: 

Certificate IV Community Services, or similar
