Carnivals & Interschool Sport and House news

Welcome back to another great year of sport at Koonung. Please find set out below a few important reminders for Interschool Sport:

1. Check Compass regularly for information about team sign-ups.
2. Please ensure payment and consent is provided by the due date. Students are unable to attend the event if we do not have this. 
3. If students decide to pull out of the event before the day, they MUST let either the teacher coaching the team OR Miss Prosenak know ASAP so that we can find another student as a replacement. If not, the team may not have enough players and be unable to go.

The 2023 Koonung House Swimming Carnival is being held on Thursday 23 February at Boroondara Sports Complex. Students can meet at the venue at 9:15am OR be transported by bus from school. If you are catching the bus please provide consent on the Compass event as this will enable us to determine how many buses we need to provide on the day. If your child is intending to catch one of the school organised buses they must  arrive at school at normal time 8.30-8.40am. Dress up in your house colours OR the theme of Rhyme without Reason to win some highly sought-after prizes including canteen vouchers! Koonung Sports Uniform if not dressing up. There will be competition swimming events, participation swimming events, diving, novelty events and basketball on the day. Sign up before the day or on the day, everyone welcome. The canteen will be available for purchase of food & drinks or bring your own lunch/snacks.
