Grade 1/2MM had fun learning about addition by rolling dice, adding counters to the ladybug and working in pairs and groups to solve the problem.

 Use of manipulatives, also called concrete materials, in the teaching of Mathematics allows a student to explore Mathematics concepts using a hands-on and active approach, and can stimulate children's higher order thinking.
