District Athletics Day
On Tuesday the 3rd of May, chosen students from Years 3-6 went to the Knox Athletics Track to compete in various athletics events. Overall, we won 6 first place ribbons, 21 second place ribbons, 12 third place ribbons and 10 fourth place ribbons for our school. Scoresby Primary School came 5th out of the 8 schools that attended. Congratulations to all competitors! We spent the whole day at Knox Athletics Track competing in our sports and watching our friends compete. Leah H. won the Under 11 Girls Overall Age Group medal. Well done!

House Cross Country
On the 5th of May we competed in our school cross country and students from grades 3-6 participated in the race. Everyone thought it was really fun and was very exhausted after their long run. Students who placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th received a ribbon on the day. Macarthur was the winning house. Well done to Macarthur and to everyone who participated!

Running Club is held on the oval (running track) every Thursday morning - weather permitting - from 8.30-8.45am.
