Fable Writing

This term, the students in Level 1/2 have been learning about fables. A fable is a short story where the characters, often portrayed as animals, take on human traits. There is often a moral message embedded into the story – a takeaway message for the reader to learn and take on in a social context. Using all the new knowledge we have gained from this unit of work, students are in the process of planning their own fable that they will share with the students in Foundation L.

Take a look at their brilliant planning! We are very excited to see how their stories develop and what moral messages they aim to teach their peers.
