Ethan H. - 1/2D

Ethan is receiving this award for his ‘have a go’ attitude in class this week. He has demonstrated a willingness to learn and try new things, showing bravery and Excellence. Ethan is never afraid to say when he doesn’t understand a task at hand, and will approach the teacher to ask for help. This is the first step to success and growth, Ethan – well done and keep up the hard work!

Arian F. - 1/2G

This award goes to Arian for always being pro-active and doing tasks in our classroom without being asked. He is always thinking of others and strives to display the HEART values each day. I love having you in my class Arian, you always have a smile on my face and bring so much joy to our classroom.

Hayden A. - 1/2K

This award goes to Hayden for the Excellence he is displaying when planning his narrative writing. This term we are focusing on writing a well-organized fable. Hayden has placed great care into carefully crafting a moral message and providing excellent detail about his characters. He has used well thought out adjectives to describe both inside and outside traits. I’m very excited to learn how your fable develops Hayden. Keep up the excellent work!

This award goes to Emily for always showing her HEART values. She listens carefully to all instructions, contributes thoughtful ideas and is always willing to help others. Emily has a kind, polite and friendly nature and is a delight to have in the class. Keep up the wonderful work, Emily!

Lachlan S. - 3/4K

This award goes to Lachlan for showing the HEART value Respect. He has the most beautiful manners, is kind to others and shows respect when others are speaking. When playing maths games this week, he worked cooperatively with others and was a great team member. We are fortunate to have you in 3/4K Lachlan. Keep up the great work.

Yousef N. - 3/4S

This award is presented to Yousef for the valuable and thoughtful contributions he made during class discussions this week. When brainstorming ideas for a persuasive piece of writing, Yousef was able to develop great arguments and shared these with the class. Keep up the great work, Yousef.

Luke H. - 5/6F

This award goes to Luke for displaying the Scoresby HEART value of excellence. This week in maths he completed Y charts displaying the definitions, units and tools used to measure length, area, perimeter and volume. Luke has a great work ethic and focussed on the task so he could complete all his Y charts in the given time. He is a pleasure to teach and should be proud of the work he is producing.

Kimberly Z. - 5/6M

This award is presented to Kimberly for the effort she has taken this week to improve the presentation of her work. Kimberly listened carefully to my suggestions about ruling up her work with a date and a margin and is very proud of the results. Keep up all the great work you are doing Kimberly and always believe in yourself!

Leah H. - 5/6W

This award goes to Leah for her wonderful efforts at our District Athletics Day. On Tuesday, Leah demonstrated terrific sportsmanship and actively encouraged and supported all of her peers. When participating in her different events, she represented Scoresby Primary School to the best of her ability and was recognised at the end of the day as the best overall girl for the Under 11s age group. Fantastic effort Leah! I am so proud of you.

Abraham A. - Performing Arts

This award goes to The Funky Drummer, Abraham, for his talent playing the drums. Keep up with the lessons and practice Abraham because you’re sounding great.

Eddie W. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Eddie for his enthusiasm when learning new ideas and techniques. Eddie created a beautiful picture of falling leaves when he experimented with stencil printing. He used different rotations of his stencil and thought about each leaf’s position on the paper. Wow Eddie! You definitely are a Visual Arts star!

Lucas N. - Physical Education

This award goes to Lucas for the effort and enthusiasm he displayed during the football clinic in PE this week. Lucas listened carefully to the coach, followed the instructions and assisted his peers. He demonstrated fantastic football skills such as handballing and kicking. Well done Lucas!

Chaitra B. - Mandarin

This award acknowledges and congratulates Chaitra for her fantastic work in Mandarin class. We were learning about our zodiac animal and Chaitra did a great job writing her zodiac animal in Mandarin. Great start Chaitra!
