Confirmation

On Tuesday night, 14 of our families joined Holy Name Staff for a Confirmation Reflection evening. This gives families an opportunity to stop and reflect on this important Sacrament. 

Confirmation is the last of the Sacraments of Initiation. There are three in total - Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.  Confirmation finishes what Baptism started.  During Baptism, parents make promises on behalf of their child, while in Confirmation the children reaffirm these promises for themselves. They are reminded that they have been given 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit that have been bestowed to them by God. These gifts have been given to Catholics to do good in the world, but are gifts that we work on from the moment we are baptised.

On Sunday 15th May 2022, our Grade 6s will be celebrating their Confirmation with Bishop Terry Curtin and Father Joe as the celebrants.  We congratulate our year 6 children on receiving this very special Sacrament.

Level Mass

This morning,  May 12th, our Year 2 students attended weekday Mass. 

On May 19th our Year 6 and Year 1 students will combine for their weekday Mass.

 All parents are welcome to attend.

On May 26th our Year 5 and Year Prep students will combine for their weekday Mass.

 All parents are welcome to attend.

On June 2nd our Year 3 students will be partaking in the weekday Mass. 

All parents are welcome to attend.

On June 9th our Year 4 students will be partaking in the weekday Mass. 

All parents are welcome to attend.
