Fundraising Thank You
Last week's Casual Clothes Day was a great success, raising a total of $708 for the COVID-19 appeal at Lutheran Community Care. Staff and students all looked very bright, warm and comfortable! Thank you to our whole community for their generous donations.
Growing Faith at Home
Birthdays! Celebrating the anniversary of the birth of someone loved is a special occasion.
This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost. The time when the Holy Spirit came to be with us to help, comfort and guide us among other things. Pentecost is a bit like the birthday of the Church.
Please find some activities from Grow Ministries that you might like to try out with your families this weekend!

Scholastic Book Club
Yay! Scholastic hardcopy catalogues are back! They are being sent home with students this week. Please use the Loop ordering system to place your orders.
Scholastic apps are available to download for both Apple and Android devices to make ordering through the Loop system easier.
There is the option to mark your purchases as GIFTS. When these books arrive, you will be contacted directly, rather than books going home with students.
Please also note that some titles offered, differ from the Christian ethos followed by the school.
Orders need to be submitted via the LOOP ordering system or returned to the front office by Thursday 4 June.

LLL Bank Interest
On 31 May, interest will again be added to all deposit accounts. We therefore ask that you send any LLL passbooks to the school office (via Communication buckets) next Thursday so that books can be updated with interest.
2nd Hand Uniforms
If you've found pre-loved school uniforms in wardrobes at home, now is the time to hand them in. Our collection of (old style) 2nd hand uniforms will be closing at the end of this term. If they are still in good condition, we would love to send them to schools in need.

The response to our chapel offerings and donations of non-perishable food items has been overwhelming!
Thank you so much for your generosity. We will be collecting until the end of term, so it's not too late to bring a gold coin or a can of food on Friday's.

Uniform Shop
The Uniform Shop is open to allow two families in the shop at one time, yet still observing the required social distancing measures and the use of hand sanitizers.

Canteen
The canteen is open for lunches on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Next week's choice of soup will be Chicken Noodle, Potato, Leek and Bacon or Pea and Ham.
Online QKR! orders must be placed by 8.45am (or even the night before), with separate orders for each child.
