Student Challenges

Each week we will have two or more student challenges. One will link directly to our school values, while the other one will be a bit of fun to break the boredom. Submitted photos / videos will go into the year level newsletter with winners announced at each level.

Challenge 1 - House Colour Treasure Hunt  #COMMUNITY

Time to get into the house spirit! Search around your house for 10 items that are the same colour as your house. Bonus points if you can find:

• a kitchen item
• a bathroom item
• something you write with
• a food

Take a photo of all your items together and email it to BLC@prsc.vic.edu.au by Monday 18th May. Don’t forget to tell us your full name and home group. Students who submit photos will receive points for their house.

Challenge 2 - Isolation poem or song  #FUN

Poems and song writing are a great way to express your thoughts and feelings. Share what you have been doing in isolation by writing a poem or song. Send through your poem or song lyrics to BLC@prsc.vic.edu.au by Monday 18th May. Don’t forget to tell us your full name and home group. Students who submit a poem or song will receive points for their house.

Challenge 3 - eSports: Win prizes for our college  #COMMUNITY

RHSports is offering an online school vs. school e-challenge that you can participate in from home. All you have to do is go to their website (rhsports.com.au)  and pick a challenge such as ‘Basketball Speed Dribble’. Follow the instructions and complete the challenge, then submit your results via the entry form on their website. It’s easy! Don’t forget to select Patterson River Secondary College as your school so we can climb up the leaderboard and win prizes for the school in the form of sports equipment! Good luck and have fun!
