Wellbeing and Engagement

Welcome Back Everyone.

It has been so lovely to make that physical connection with our students and families this week. We certainly are a resilient bunch but sometimes even the most resilient of us need extra support.

The resources I have added below have been chosen to support students and families during our return to school.

There is a social story explaining our return to school and resources for families from professionals at The Royal Children's Hospital and Kids Helpline.

Please don't hesitate me if you require extra support at this time.

Friday 29th October is World Teachers' Day.

Australia will celebrate and thank the teaching profession on World Teachers’ Day on Friday 29 October 2021.  Teachers (with support from parents and carers) have ensured education continues across the country this year, despite major challenges. It’s reinforced the significant role teachers play in the lives of children and students, their families, and communities.

On Friday 29 October, you can say a big thank you to teachers by posting a photo in your sunglasses on Twitter or Facebook, either on your own or with family or friends. Use these tags: #BrightFuture @aitsl

You can share a virtual apple with teachers to let them know they’re appreciated. Visit worldteachersday.edu.au to add a virtual apples to the collection as a super easy way to say thanks.
