VTAC Upcoming Key Dates
Timely applications through VTAC close Thursday 30 September 2021
SEAS applications close Friday 8 October 2021
Scholarships through VTAC close Friday 8 October 2021
Students applying for courses that have essential requirements (i.e., submitting a folio, a pre-selection kit, arranging an interview, etc.) are reminded that failure to meet the deadline date for these means students may no longer be eligible for selection into their desired course.
Students eligible to apply for SEAS are also encouraged to apply for VTAC Scholarships.
CASPer Test
The CASPer Test is an online situational test designed to assess an applicant’s personal and professional attributes.
Year 12 students who intend to go into a teaching course in 2022 must sit the CASPer Test in order to be considered.

Free TAFE Courses
Free TAFE for priority courses gives more students the chance to study at TAFE and access to training and skills as the State recovers from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Free TAFE for priority courses covers tuition fees for students who are eligible for government subsidised training. Browse Vic Gov Free TAFE to learn more about eligibility criteria, what courses are
on offer, and the TAFE providers of these courses.
Apprenticeships and Traineeships
Students who are looking for an apprenticeship or traineeship in 2022 can visit the job vacancies page on the THS Careers website. Opportunities are posted as we receive them and there are also suggested sites where students can register to receive the latest vacancies.
