Wife of Robert (Bob)Hamilton (d. 2007) (SVC student 1935-37, SVC staff 1958 – 78 and  1997 – 98)

Heritage Roll of Honour Inductee and Honorary Life Member of OVA

Mother of Marguerite, Ann-Maree, Elizabeth and Louise.

Patricia lived a long life, rich in love and laughter, given and received. Her open heart and generosity attracted friends of all ages and from all walks of life. She loved nature (birds), plants, dogs (they adored her) and even the wallabies that plundered her precious, gorgeous garden. Most of all, she loved and unconditionally supported her family and we loved and treasured her, as well.

 KELLY, Peter William

  13.06.1930 - 31.08.2021

Peter attended the College in the late 1930s was a first cousin of Sean (SVC 1959-63) and the late Brendan (SVC 1962-68) Kelly. Peter was 91. 

 Peter was farewelled at a Requiem Mass at Matraville (NSW) on September 6 

MCCARTNEY, Dr Peter Wynne OAM  

11.3.1931 – 3.9.2021 

Passed away peacefully after a short illness. Missed by his beloved wife, Penny; his children, Paul (SVC 1973-77) and partner, Kathy, Anne and Paul, Bernard (SVC 1979-84) and Gill, and his daughter-in-law, Asha; his grandchildren, Lara, Clair and Matt, Chris and Cat, James and Julia; his great-grandchildren, Sofia and Miles; and his friends and family. A great dad, visionary, innovator and inspiration to many. 

POULSON, Margaret Cochran  

d. 15.08.2021

Beloved wife of Ian (SVC 1955-62), mother of Sarah and Tom (dec), grandma of Tommy, Charlie and Sam.

PRENTER, John Edward (SVC 1949-1956)

8.01.1940 – 25.08.2021

Passed away peacefully at Fairway Rise Aged Care Facility on August 25 2021, aged 81 years. Eldest son of Edward and Jessie (both dec). Loving husband of Patricia. Loved father of Katheryn, Therese, Louise and Bronwen and respected father-in-law of Michael, Stuart and Aaron. Devoted and loved Pa of Joseph, Oliver, Jack and Eddie. Brother to Robert (dec 2001 – SVC 1950-58), Elizabeth, Christine (dec), Andrew (SVC 1959-67) and Samuel (dec).   Uncle of Matt  (SVC 1977-85) and Tony (SVC 1978-86). Our sincere appreciation to the staff at Fairway Rise for their devoted care over the last six years.

SPAULDING, James Thomas (Jim)  

06.06.1938 - 12.08.2021

Passed away peacefully at home. Loved and loving husband of Jan for 62 years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Brett (SVC 1977-82) and Cris and Natalie and Cameron. Former Chief Officer, Midway Point Fire Brigade.
