Two Special Warriors!

Michael and Koby Moschogianis (SVC 2011-2018)

On Saturday August 28 Director of Sport at the College Michael Moschogianis created history by becoming the oldest player to play NPL football in Tasmania. Having just raised the bat for his half century, Michael showed that he had lost little of his magic in a polished cameo for his beloved Olympia Warriors.

Making the day more special was that he was able to share the experience with son Koby (SVC 2011-2018), who has enjoyed a breakout year with the Warriors. Koby has been one of the club's leading players, starring in defence and even managing to get forward and score on three occasions this year.

The feat is unlikely be repeated as Koby will head off to Victoria in 2022 to commence tertiary studies and take his football to a new level.

Team Moz (Michael and Koby are photographed above with wife Tracy who works in the Finance Office at the College and daughter Tayla) played an integral part in helping the Warriors defeat Riverside Olympic 4-1 at Warrior Park.
