This bring us to the end of another term and what a term it has been. Simply put, we have had enormous rainfall across most areas but we are saddened to hear that there has been a lot of frost damage recently to many crops that appeared to be yielding exceptional quantities.

This Week on the Farm

We have assisted students in completing outstanding work across all three sections – Farm, Class and Trades. We wish to acknowledge the other learning areas and thank them for their flexibility with ongoing programs and the individual learning needs of our students.

On Tuesday Mr Millichamp and Mr Dunlop took a group of students offsite to visit some local producers and suppliers such as the Galati Feedlot and Boyanup Sale Yards.

Mrs Morris has been busy with her strawberry production putting in some new grow beds and netting with both Year 11 and 12s.

Mr Adams, with some assistance from Trades, has a new crate and cover for the sheep trailer. Mr Truss and Mr Briggs supervised construction of the cage with their Year 11 and 12s and Mr Adams had the cover manufactured by a local upholsterer.

As we farewell our Year 12 cohort for almost the last time, we wish them all the best for whatever future endeavours they may partake in. All of the Farm staff wish you nothing but health and happiness over the many years ahead in life. As Mr Foster has told them………. "I have six weeks work to go and you have 50 years work to go. When you find what you love, stick at it because 50 years is a long time.”
