NEW - Foundation Update

Foundation have been reading The Three Billy Goats Gruff and created their own troll by rolling a dice and using craft materials. They each decided and wrote what happened to the troll after he fell from the bridge. It was very enjoyable.

NEW - Yr. 3/4 Update

We are so excited to be back in the classroom together again! We have been continuing our work on procedures and last week we wrote the procedure for 'How to Make Fairy Bread'. We then had to follow the instructions EXACTLY as we had written them. We learnt how important it is to be specific when writing how to do something!

It has been so great to see the students happy and back at school. They have loved spending time together and reconnecting after so long apart. We are so proud of how quickly they have settled into the routine of school again.

As part of our Social and Emotional program, the students have been working in small groups to complete a challenge. They were tasked with the challenge of building the tallest tower out of spaghetti, tape, marshmallows and string. There were some wonderful ideas and the collaboration was amazing. They have also been working on solving some Rebeus puzzles - see if they can remember some to share with you.

Children will remain on the verandah if they are not wearing the correct school hat during break times or will sit in a shaded area during outdoor school activities. Parents, please support us by ensuring your child has their school hat in their bag.

Students not returning to Sacred Heart in 2022
