Permaculture Project

The implementation of Zones 1 and 2 of ASC's Permaculture Project (funded through the Sustainable Schools Grant), has been completed and we now have some ducks and chooks in residence in the moat around the garden.

During the year the garden has been very productive, thanks to the care and commitment of Rob Gasparre and the Ag team. Mr Fisher, our Agriculture teacher, is planning to regularly use the garden for the mandatory plant production units in  the Stage 4 and Stage 5 Agricultural Technologies courses. All Agriculture students will also be active in the garden throughout the year as part of the running of our school farm.

We look forward to the implementation of the forest garden and wildlife area once the building of the Multi-Purpose Centre has been completed.
