Pride Club

Pride Club commenced this year and has been meeting fortnightly when we have not been in lockdown. Throughout this year we have been working on a hand painted progressive Pride flag.  This flag will be hung in the gym when finished.

Pride Club is a safe and inclusive space for Echuca College’s LGBTQIA+ students and allie's to meet, chat, and simply be together.  Pride Club is a place of understanding and support for all.  We meet fortnightly on Thursdays at lunchtime (check the Xuno News announcements).  Please contact Mrs Townsend if you would like more information.

Trans Awareness Week

Trans Awareness Week spans Friday 13th Nov to 19th Nov and is a week in which we celebrate trans pride and learn how to elevate the voices of our LGBTQIA+ community. 

Trans Awareness Week gives us the opportunity to celebrate the wonderful trans and gender diverse community.  It's also the perfect, ideal time to educate ourselves and those around us about gender diversity, and the importance of being a trans ally within Echuca College and the broader community.  This week is also a chance to celebrate the trailblazers throughout history that have fought for trans rights and honor those in the LGBTQIA+ community who have lost their lives due to violence and discrimination.
