Dear Parents and Guardians

Carols

As mentioned in a letter sent out to parents earlier this week the annual school carols will now proceed!!!!  It will take place on Monday 13 Decemeber.  I think our community is looking forward to the opportunity to come together.

The evening will commence at 6.00pm and conclude at approximately 7.30pm. The gates will be open at 5.00pm to allow plenty of time for people to QR code in. Those 12+ who do not attend St Bede’s will be required to show their double vaccinated certificate before they will be able to enter the school grounds. Please be patient.

3/4 Excursion

There was great excitment yesterday morning as our Yr 3/4 students commenced the bus ride to the aquarium. Over the past two years we have had many incurions (mainly online) but not many excursions.  It was wonderful to see just how excited our students were.

Confirmation

The second of our Confirmation services was held last Thursday evening. Like the first service on Tuesday, Fr. John made sure it was a special evening for each of our very excited candidates.  I thank our community for your patience over the past three months. It was obvious the Holy Spirit was at work amongst all our candidates and it was wonderful the children could celebrate this special sacrament.

Swimming

Our swimming program commences next week at Camberwell Grammar. As previously mentioned we have exclusive use of the pool.  All COVID 19 protocols will be in place. Thank you to those parents who have volunteered to help. It is greatly appreciated.
