Book Club Morning Tea
Today we had the privilege of hosting the Book Clubs of the Trinity Senior Library at the annual morning tea where students were presented with their participation badges by Mr O’Neill.
Year 12 leaver and long-time Book Club member Taylor Hannah gave a speech on behalf of all book club participants that aptly summed up the importance of this activity to many boys in the Trinity community. A highlight from his speech is below:
“To all the young cats here today, continue to read and come in to the Library as the women behind me are some of the most wonderful people here. I think the Library is the best place in the school so please continue to love and respect it.”
A big shout out must go to the four Year 12 Book Club members for celebrating their fifth Book Club morning tea in a row, and for participating in Book Clubs for almost the entirety of their schooling life. Congratulations Sholto Foss, Taylor Hannah, Callum Lee and Sam Thorpe!
