Kutcha Edwards visits CHPS

Kutcha Edwards has been prolifically combining songwriting and activism since 1991, when he joined Koori group Watbalimba and began the remarkable journey that has taken him from the tiny Riverina town of Balranald to tours of Australia and the world. It is his experiences as a member of the Stolen Generations and his proud Mutti Mutti heritage that has shaped his diverse creative output in groups like Blackfire and the Black Arm Band

Thank you from 4KD

Jarvis, 4KD - Thank you Kutcha for telling us about your childhood. It must have been scary being taken away from your mother and having to live with white people for years and living life without your family and how hard it would be to live like that. We are lucky to speak with someone like you and to have the courage to tell us. Thank you.

Dolly, 4KD - We admire how much determination and courage you have and how strongly you spoke despite how you were treated. We value your stories and experiences and we will make the world a better place for generations to come.

Together - And that is why we Clifton Hill Primary School say thank you for caring for this land and coming to this school to educate us.
