Lost Property

Primary

The School has a large amount of unnamed lost property. Without names these cannot be returned to their rightful owners. The items will be available for retrieval from a tub in Primary near the photocopier for the next week. If it has not been claimed after this, the items will be donated to goodwill.

Secondary

The School also has a large amount of unnamed lost property for Secondary. This is located in the sickbay in Administration. Items not collected within the next week will be donated to goodwill.

Community Church Service

We would like to make families aware that the Community Church Service that was planned for Sunday, November 9, has now been cancelled.

Sustainable School Shop

A reminder to visit Sustainable School Shop for any available secondhand books. Sustainable School Shop will also be placing our booklists for next year on their website. This will assist those who are looking for secondhand books.  Sustainable School Shop isn't just for our school, but uses a network of schools for increased availability of secondhand books.

Drink Bottles Wanted

The Science Department is in need of some 1.25 litre drink bottles for the Year 10 Science class to make Cartesian Divers. If you have any bottle to donate, please leave these at Reception, where there will be a box for bottle collection. These are needed ASAP.

Congratulations

Each year Dandenong Ranges Community Bank Group hold a calendar photo competition and a number of our students enter. The photos must capture the natural landscape showing how and why people enjoy living in the Dandenong Ranges. We’re excited to congratulate Jay Reiher (Year 11) with the winning Junior entry photo of a tawny frog mouth, Jack Kelty (Year 9) who received a highly commended entry photo of a possum, and Zoe Harris (Year 8) who received an encouragement award for her photo entry. Be sure to pick up a calendar for 2015 from the Bendigo Bank.
