Year 11 VCE Major - Careers excursion to Multiplex 

On Monday 29th May and 5th June 2023, the Year 11 VCE Major class was taken to the Multiplex construction facility on Wellington Road, Clayton. 

The students were given an insight into the vast career opportunities available to them within the construction industry. 

Luke Robertson, who is an ex-student of WHSC and now a project manager for Multiplex, Lauren Dodds, QA/QC engineer and Nick French, trainee project manager gave advice to the Year 11 students on how their career paths worked out once they had completed Year 12. 

Students were given the opportunity to do a site walk and see the various trades currently working in a real-life workplace. Numerous questions were asked by the students. 

Multiplex is keen to develop local community connections with schools and with the help of Luke Robertson, Lauren Dodds and Nick French, this was made possible.
