We have a new tennis star at Murrumbeena PS. Young Marlo W in year 3 recently competed in the Wayne Arthurs Cup at Kooyong Tennis Club and despite being only 8 years old was competing against 10 year olds in the tournament. No doubt many matches would have been challenging, but Marlo showed strength of mind, applied herself to remain focused throughout and even scored a win. Congratulations Marlo for your determination and commitment. You have made your family and school proud.
