Science

Science:

We will be approaching Science from the perspective of Science as an Inquiry Skill. We will be exploring and investigating light.

We will be responding to and posing questions, and making predictions about familiar objects and events.

Participating in guided investigations, including making observations using the senses, to explore and answer questions.

Children will use informal measurements in the collection and recording of their observations.

Using a range of methods, including drawings and tables,to sort information .

Working independently and in groups students will be comparing their observations and predictions.

Throughout this unit we will be representing and communicating observations and ideas about changes in objects and events in a variety of ways.
