District Athletics

On Tuesday 27th April, many of our Grade 3-6 students went to the Knox Athletics track to compete at the District Athletics in events against other local schools. We would like to congratulate all those students who represented Scoresby Primary School. Every student demonstrated our Scoresby HEART values and should be very proud of their efforts.

Although the weather started off a bit gloomy, the rain was on our side and we were lucky enough to get the sun coming through. Our Scoresby superstars cheered each other on, tried their best and showed wonderful teamwork. From our amazing efforts, we placed 4th overall against the other 7 schools in our District, which is a fantastic achievement.

Many of our students received 1st, 2nd or 3rd ribbons for their individual track and field events, along with many of our relay teams qualifying for the next round. We can’t wait to see our amazing qualifying students represent our school at Division Athletics in Term 4 - good luck to those students!

House Cross Country

Last Friday, in beautiful sunshine, we held our House Cross Country. Thank you to the parents who assisted with running the event. Congratulations to all students for completing the cross country; it is definitely not an easy event.

The District Cross Country will be held on Friday 28th May at Knox Athletics Track between 11.30am and 2.30pm. Students who have been selected in our school team will receive a Compass note soon.
