Communication with BWPS Families

At the most recent P&C meeting we discussed communication with families. At this meeting some parents indicated they would like to change the way the school communicates with the parent body. Could you please complete the survey below to ensure we are communicating with you effectively.

Student Leadership Policy

Thank you to the parents who attended our Student Leadership Meeting. We appreciate your feedback regarding the policy. We have made some adjustments and are keen to hear back from you regarding these.

Please feel free to make an appointment, call or e-mail burkeward-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au  with your feedback by Monday 23rd September.

Healthy Harold has arrived!

The Life Education van is parked in the school ready for all classes to attend one session throughout this week.

Students who wish to purchase merchandise need to bring the correct money on the day their class attends the van.

The class schedule was sent home last week and can also be found on the school's Facebook page.

Thank you to the P&C who have subsidised the cost of this incursion for our students.

School Stream

Our active schools app has now been decommissioned as of the 31st August. The school is going to replace it with School Stream which we will launch to our school community in Term 4.

School stream will offer our parents the following, plus more:

1. Detailed permission notes specific to events

2. One click payment portal

3. Events calendar

4. Easy access on your iphone or Android phone

5. No account needed to join the school app

Join now to be ready for our launch.

If you would like additional information, please see the front office.

Please visit the school office or call to register your child for Kindergarten 2020.

You can enrol your child in Kindergarten at the beginning of the school year if they turn 5 on, or before, 31 July of that year.  Students must be enrolled by their sixth birthday.

If you know of any children who will be of school age this coming year, please encourage their family members to call or register.
