Specialist Home Learning: 

Week Beginning October 5

During Week 1 of Term 4, Specialist subjects have again been timetabled for 25 minute blocks. All tasks this time will be presented in a ‘menu-board’ format. Pupils are asked to complete one task from each specialist subject over this week.

Visual Arts

In Art this week, some of the highlights are:

Preps to Grade 2 -  Make your initials out of cardboard and decorate them with wool; Play the 'How surreal' Art game

Grades 3 and 4-  Get creative with re-purposing some old materials to make a beautiful collaged landscape; Create your own abstract collage 

Grades 5 and 6- Watch the video and follow the directions to draw your own dragon;  Get creative with wool or string to make a god’s eye craft hanging for your home

Performing Arts

In Performing Arts this week, some of the highlights are:

Preps to Grade 2- Have a go at being a Mime Artist and put on a mime performance; Get creative with some 'Kitchen Composition'

Grades 3 and 4-  Learn the art of 'Tutting'; Complete the 'Accents Challenge'- What accents can you do?

Grades 5 and 6-  Grab a hat and have a go at following along to the 'The Greatest Showman' choreography; Have a go at some 'Kaboom' drumming
