Poetry book for Strathalbyn Library
This week, my class and I walked to the Strathalbyn library to drop off a copy of a book that we as a Year 9 class wrote, and a copy also went to the Milang library. We didn’t walk there though.
The book was about hope and was filled with poems that the Years 9s all wrote for English. The poems were about hope through the Covid-19 crisis. Some of the poems were for children, some for teachers, some for the medical workers, some for nursing home residents, some for students and some for leaders as well as some assorted poems.
We all put in a lot of thought and effort into our poems and are proud of the book. There will be copies of the book at the Tyndale One Love Showcase night.

Tyndale Cup
On Tuesday 1 September, a group of 10-12 senior students traveled to Tyndale Salisbury East to join in some friendly competition with our Tyndale brothers and sisters at Murray Bridge and Salisbury East.
With the infamous Tyndale Cup up for grabs, all three schools competed in games of Volleyball and European Handball, each demonstrating incredible teamwork and sportsmanship. Defending their title as winners of the Tyndale Cup in 2019, Tyndale Salisbury East fought hard and played well, keeping the Tyndale Cup in their possession for another year.
Well done to all the students involved, it was a great day and a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate what it really means to be a Tyndalian! Thank you to the Salisbury East campus for hosting this year and providing us all with a delicious lunch afterwards. We acknowledge and appreciate all the effort that was put into making the day happen.
