TRIVIA NIGHT- 2019

TRIVIA NIGHT 2019

We had a wonderful night on 7 September when Infinity Wisdom were crowned the Clifton Hill Primary School Trivia Champions for 2019.

150 parents, carers and teachers turned the footy off and had a great night as a school community.

A massive thank you to all of those involved - particularly to everyone for helping pack up the hall at the end of the night - it made it far easier for the organisers to get out the door in good time. We can't thank everyone personally but will mention a few here:

Atticus (grade 4) and Jemima Paterson (grade 1) and Florence Kristens (ex CHPS) for setting up the tables and putting out the chairs, and finishing off the clean up the Sunday after the event.

Allister Paterson and Mim Slattery for managing the logistics and doing all the boring jobs to bring the night together

Louisa Ryan and Jela Ivankovic-Waters for selflessly and expertly managing the bar all night

Anthea Rhodes for expertly sourcing auction items and designing a killer invitation

Susan Williamson for managing all of the school side logistics and bringing it all together

Everyone on school council and the community building and fundraising committees for their contributions

Alicia Loxley for MCing the event

Ausma for her wonderful Paella

All the donations to the live auction on the night and all of the generous members of the school community who bid and won auction items:

  • Natasha Taylor: 30 min photography session
  • Ella Baxter: Yoga at Home session
  • Alicia Loxley: backstage tour of channel 9
  • Andy Maher: 4 tickets to the ‘Front Bar’ live grandfinal episode
  • Jane Kilpatrick: interior design consultation with Pipcorn Kilpatrick
  • George Mitte Café: 1 month of free coffee each day
  • Vaughan Kelly aka Spock: Clifton Hill Wine Bar dinner and drinks
  • Megan Smith and Susan Williamson: party with the Principals – Dinner and Strike Bowling – 4 school age children

Please complete the survey monkey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8FQRRHW) as we are keen to make this an annual event. If you have any other feedback please contact mimslattery@gmail.com.

We are keen to find a new coordinator for this event for next year, so we get innovations and build on the success, and also make sure we include different networks from across the school, so please put your hand up now if you are keen to be involved. Next year we are planning for the event to be held in the first half of the year.
