Canteen Helpers
Scotsburn is scheduled to assist Tracey in the canteen in the next few weeks. Special thanks to the wonderful volunteers below for offering their support.
Sustainable Houses
On Monday 25th November, we are having a special visitor coming to our Monday assembly. Andrea Mason, a local Scotsburn resident, will be coming along for students to present to her their sustainable houses they designed and built as part of Friday’s Family Group rotations. Andrea’s business ‘Finding North’ promotes sustainable living by providing guidance around designing homes and natural backyards. Andrea also works within our community with many land care groups and renewable energy organisations. Students will have the opportunity to present their houses and discuss with Andrea the sustainable aspects they have included. Andrea will then have the opportunity to discuss what she does within her business and how we can continue being sustainable as best we can. Parents are more than welcome to attend! Bike Education / Bring Your Bike to School Week
It was so good to see the kids out enjoying something new at break times last week. Clearly they all had a great time riding their bikes around the school. A big thanks to everyone for helping to ensure that they all enjoyed the opportunity safely. Well done also to Mrs Morgan for incorporating the bikes into her PE program. We’ll look to do this again next year.
Congratulations Quinn
On Monday night, Quinn participated in the Buninyong Lions Club public speaking competition. Her speech was written and presented on the topic, ‘If you were in a book’. Quinn practised and prepared extremely hard and was successful in being judged as the winner on the night. Congratulations Quinn!
New BBQ Area Launch
It was great to open the new BBQ area up so successfully on Friday. Seeing almost every student enjoying a sausage confirmed that the space will certainly be a positive inclusion. We would like to have one more BBQ before the year is out for the kids. This time though, maybe vegetable skewers or corn on the cob. Order forms will be coming home soon.
Back Creek Farm Visit
The P-2’s had a fabulous time at the Back Creek Farm last Friday. The enjoyed the opportunity to work with the year 9 girls to plant some trees, collect and wash up eggs and also milk some goats. We look forward to reconnecting with the students at Back Creek again in Term 1 of 2020.
Volleyball Clinics
We got off to a great start with the volleyball clinics last Tuesday. This is another fantastic opportunity for the kids to learn some new skills and play a new sport. We look forward to a couple more clinics over the next 2 weeks.
Icy Poles
Axel will again be selling icy poles for $1 on Thursdays.

Lunch Order Roster
Lunch orders need to be collected from the Buninyong campus at 12.40 pm. Please ensure you organise a swap if necessary so that the students don’t go hungry!
School Bus Travel for 2020
Families who are eligible and wish to use one of the three country bus services next year are required to complete and return a new application form for their child/children and return it to the office by the end of Term 4.
Likewise, if your child/children attend our Scotsburn campus and would like to use our between campus service, a new application form is also required.
If your child/children are already bus travellers, we will be sending a form home with the eldest child in the family in the next few weeks. For new travellers, please call into the office to see Mel for an application form and further details.
Please note: All current bus rolls will be cleared at the end of Term 4 and only children for which we have new application forms for will be permitted to travel.
