Neil Angus Visit

Charli G - I never knew how important state government is. I learnt a lot more about our state government. This is a really important job to have because otherwise our country would have no laws and rules so our country wouldn’t be safe at all. I’m really grateful for this and excited to learn more!

Jackson E - I have learned a lot about Parliament especially state and how the state Parliament takes care of schools clubs, and local citizen’s problems. I also learned that political meetings take lots of time and thought to make sure laws are safe and affect all the citizens in a good way. Neil Angus makes lots of contributions to the community and helps many people and ensure safety in our community.

Navin B - We all learnt about the different responsibilities and roles that Neil Angus had and what were the different types of things he did. We also learnt about what all the state government did. We also learnt about what he did in his usual workday. It was fun!

Lydia W - When Neil Angus visited, I learnt that you need to be a very active listener, as well as a confident public speaker, so that you LISTEN to people's’ problems instead of blabbering on and on about stuff-that-no-one-else-cares-about, and not getting to the point.

Thomas K - I learnt that being a politician is very hard and requires lots of patience as Mr. Angus once spent 23 hours working on a bill he had lots of interest in. Neil has lots of jobs and responsibilities, one of them being raising the requests and ideas made by residents in Forest Hill.
