From the Principal

We would like to acknowledge the original custodians of this land

and pay our respects to the Elders past and present and emerging,

for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.

Dear Families

We have come to the end of another term and students, staff and parents must be congratulated on the stamina and endurance that was shown.  There were many families that that were stricken with the ailments that have been going around through the community and days of absence from school for some have been many, but at all times the return to school was positive and everyone ready to continue to soldier on. Let's hope that next term is only better than this one.

MACS and School Policies

I would like to bring to your attention a number of new and updated policies that are aligned with the new Child Safe Standards. They have been uploaded to our school website under the tab of Our School for those who would like to read them.

As always these policies are to ensure that the safety and well being of each student is apparent from the time of enrolment and throughout the time at our school.

Child Safe Standard 3 is "Child and Student Empowerment" and at St Anthony's we place great value on empowering all students to take action when they identify a concern that needs to be addressed.  The SRC have worked with me this week  to review and update the  student friendly version of the school's Child Safety Policy which will be presented to the student community next term.

This policy promotes student safety and wellbeing and ensures that every adult who works in our school abides by our Code of Conduct.

Lunch Orders via Classroom Cuisine

Please note that lunch orders arrive between 10.30am and 12noon.  The time of delivery cannot be confirmed due to demand on that day.  If you have ordered your child a lunch order, please ensure you pack them brain food and something for recess.

I hope that you all stay well, have a rest from the school routines and have an opportunity to spend quality time with your children as they have earned this mid year break.

Start of Term 3

Term 3 commences on Monday, 11th July 2022.

Yours sincerely

Margaret Carlei
