Victorian Coding Challenge

VICTORIAN CODING CHALLENGE

STAGE 1:

In stage 1 students will receive a virtual kit with a series of fun and engaging coding tasks. Students will participate in these tasks via a user-friendly online platform – accessible from school or home. The challenges will require that students apply coding and algorithmic thinking in order to solve interesting problems (Coding kits have been launched and are available to access until end of 2022).

STAGE 2 (NOT OPEN YET):

Stage 2 allows students who really enjoyed and excelled in Stage 1 to compete with others in a state-wide coding competition. In this competition, students will be competing in groups. In 2022 the theme is HACKING & CRYPTOGRAPHY and we are hoping to include a face to face component for our top scoring teams. The winning teams will be receiving some awesome prizes.

COST:

Free for Years 5-10.
