Regional Cross Country

Congratulations to our Regional Cross Country runners, Alfred, Matilda and Kobe for their outstanding resilience and Cross Country Prowess that they demonstrated at the Regional Cross Country Championships held on Wednesday 15th June. I have heard many reports that each one of them ran with enthusiasm and determination. We are all incredibly proud of your achievements.

A very big congratulations to Kobe, who has progressed to the State Cross Country Championships. We can’t wait to hear how you go Kobe and wish you all the best.

Winter Lightning Premierships

Today our Grade 5/6 Students participated in either AFL, Soccer or Netball tournament against other teams from the Phillip District. This day is always a lot of fun and the games are hugely competitive. I look forward to sharing the results and photos next newsletter.

Bike Education Instructor Course

A few weeks ago, I completed my Bike Education Instructor Course which allows me to plan and conduct bike ed programs at our school. I am very excited to begin organising some programs for our students. If you are a keen cyclist or have an expertise in servicing and discussing the mechanical side- could you please let me know.

Sporting Schools Gymnastics

This term, we were lucky enough to be granted money from Gymnastics Australia- Sporting Schools. The students have been lucky enough to have a gymnastics coach come and teach them a variety of gymnastics, obstacle training, and freestyle movement.
