MSA MARCH 2021 WOMEN & GIRLS VIRTUAL ACTIVE CHALLENGE

Mallee Sports Assembly would like to encourage female young and old to join our March Virtual Active Challenge. This will be conducted during This Girl Can Week -Victoria from the 22-28th March, 2021. It’s all about women getting active in their own way, and we think it’s awesome.

You choose the type of exercise you do – walk, run, cycle, skate, swim, dance or your own adventure for 30 minutes or more at any time over 2 days or more, during this week.

Whether you do it for the friendships, me-time, or a love of the game, @ThisGirlCanVIC and Mallee Sports Assembly will be there cheering you on #ThisGirlCanVIC #VicHealth

To register, please complete the following information https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6WC5VYT We are encouraging everyone to share their photos on our Facebook and Instagram pages or use the tag @MalleeSportsAssembly; #malleesportsactivechallenge

Once registered participants they will go into the draw for local prizes in their region. This event is open to people across Mildura, Swan Hill, Buloke and Gannawarra Shires. There is no cost to participate in this event. Get your friends, family, club members to join the fun and be active in your local community.

In each of the Mallee Sports Assembly regions, there are local representative supporting the program. In the Mildura region, we have Raya Robb, a 13 year old at Red Cliffs Secondary College. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and spend most of my spare time enjoying a good book, playing my guitar, and simply hanging out with my friends and family.

Over the years, I’ve tried many different sports; gymnastics, netball, basketball, footy; but found that my favourite sports are tennis and competitive swimming. Although I’m not the best at these, I love being part of team, learning new skills, and hanging out with my friends. I think I would make a good representative for the ‘This Girl Can’ campaign, because I’m just an average girl, who gets out there and has a go, tries her best and most of all has some fun!
