Promoting the welfare of, and providing support to, the SMPS community...
βAre you a parent, carer or friend of a student at SMPS? Would you like to help organise and participate in events to grow our community and raise funds for the school? Then you have what it takes to be a member of our SMPS FAF! The more people we have join, the more ideas and help we'll have to hold successful events.Β
π We hold monthly meetings, (currently online), to discuss and organise our events.
Β
π There is a link to the SMPS FAF Constitution below, which includes an application form (last page). Or email smps.faf@outlook.com and we'll email a copy of the form to you.
π§ You must submit an application form to become a member of the FAF. You can either email the completed form to smps.faf@outlook.com or drop it in to the school's office.
Be sure to submit your form by 3pm on Friday 19 March to receive an invite to the AGM.
Β
Β
π° To join the FAF, you will need to obtain a valid WWCC (Working With Children Check). There isn't a fee to get a WWCC, so please apply for one now and you can be more involved with SMPS's activities!
π The 2021 Office Bearers will be elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 25 March 6-7pm. Some roles include President, Secretary and Treasurer.
We're hoping the AGM will be in person, on-site at school. (Subject to COVID restrictions) We'll confirm the location closer to the time.
We are excited to advise the FAF has set up a second hand uniform shop!Β
Open: For term 1, on Wednesdays 2.15pm - 3.45pm
Where: Outside the school building, in front of the STEAM room Β Β
Payment: Cash only. Change will be limited, so please bring small notes and coins. Prices range from $5-$15.
Donations: If you would like to donate some uniform, simply remove names/name tags, (or cross them out with texta), and hand it in to the SMPS office.Β
Β
π Thank you to everyone who has donated SMPS uniform they no longer need. Our SMPS families greatly appreciate your generous donations.
