School Captains 2021

The SRC members have been recently appointed to their positions and we are so excited to be working with them this year.

Over the first few weeks, the Student Executive and Student Representative Council have already achieved a great deal. We have discussed the national days of action we would like to celebrate as a school this year - including IDAHOBIT Day  (International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia) and World Mental Health Day. The SEC has focused effort on planning for Harmony Day, redefining our House System (with the help of the House Captains) and organising a Leadership Development day for the SEC members and SRC Area Representatives.

The SRC regularly plans Casual Clothes Events for important national dates, helping to fundraise proceeds to key charities in need and giving back to our community. In addition, we are excited to undertake a number of new projects this year, including house competitions, lunch time concerts and sustainability initiatives, to name but a few.

We look forward to getting to know more of you over the coming weeks!

Upcoming events:

Stay tuned to Compass Newsfeed and Home Group sessions for more information regarding Harmony Day, which we will be celebrating on Wednesday March 17.

Our next whole-school House Event is National Ride to School Day on Friday the March 19.

The SRC is very keen on upholding student voice at BSC.

We will be hosting a public SRC meeting this month on Thursday the 25th of March at Lunchtime in C1 for students. This would be a wonderful opportunity to make yourself heard or to ask any questions you may have.
