PFA
The PFA is an integral part of the school community and a great way to meet other parents. The funds raised by the PFA help support school projects, teachers and students. It is where all parents have a chance to share ideas about fundraisers and ways to benefit our children and our school.
If you have any questions regarding the PFA or would like to join please email p.f.a@oatlandsps.vic.edu.au all parents/carers are welcome to join.
The next PFA Meeting date will be organised and we will put out a message via the school.
PYJAMA DAY
We are going to hold our first fundraiser of the year. Its a pyjama day.
On Friday the 26th of March come dressed in your pyjamas in exchange for a gold coin donation. Please see the notice below.

Scholastic Book Club
Dear Parents,
The best gift any parent can give a child is the love of books and the joy and benefits of independent reading for fun. Children who read at home, or are read to, have a head start on reading success in school.
Each class is participating in Scholastic Book Club this year. Up to twice a term, during the school year, currently the catalogue is online but once restrictions ease we will move back to the catalogues being sent out via the classroom.
Issue 1 and 2 are the first two issues of the year and will be available to order and view online only via the Scholastic Australia loop ordering page or the app and delivery will be sent to your house directly for a fee. (no orders forms/money will be accepted via the office).

You’ll find award-winning books and bestsellers, as well as old and new favourites. We recommend them because the books span a wide range of children’s reading levels and interests and because they are inexpensive (some books cost as little as $2).
The other benefit of Scholastic Book Club is that our school earns 10% (home orders) in Scholastic Rewards on all Book Club orders to help them obtain free books and additional learning resources. However there is never any obligation to order.
There is no better way to encourage reading than to allow children to choose the books they want to read.
