PAT reading, maths, science - Volcanic erruptions - Camp Reminder

P.A.T

Recently students in years 7, 8 and 9 have undertaken PAT (Progressive Achievement Testing) assessments in reading, math and science.  This is an important part of our continuing efforts to help inform teaching staff with vital timely information about our students current achievements and to provide guidance about what our students are ready to learn next.  This data will also be used to help monitor student progress and track growth of our students' learning across these three areas of learning.

Year 8 Humanities

Our Year 8 students have been busy in the last few weeks creating volcano's, as part of their land forms and landscapes unit. They were all required to build a different type of volcano and describe it's key features and it's distributuion around the world. They then had fun adding bicarb soda and vinegar to watch the erruption.

Year 7 Camp

Year 7 Camp is just 2 weeks, be sure to have all of the consent and medical forms completed via compass. It is sure to be a fantastic learning and bonding experience for our year 7 cohort. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
