LOTE Mandarin Week 2

Learning for LOTE Mandarin will be timetabled every Wednesday  for 25 minutes across Grades 5 and 6.

Nǐ hǎo! Thank you to everyone who joined in my LOTE Mandarin Google Classroom last week. It is good to hear from all of you and learn about what you did during your holidays.

Today we will continue to learn about numbers in Mandarin and will work our way up to 150. We learnt from last week's lesson that we can use Numbers 1 to 10 to build numbers up to 99 using the Chinese Number System.

Learn ZERO in Mandarin

Before we dive straight into checking our work from last week, let's learn how to say zero in Mandarin.

Remember líng.

Líng is very useful when we start to count from 100 and onwards!
