The Robot Rodeo

Before going to bed last night, I made a wish upon a star and in my dreams, my wish came true.

When my Dad put me to bed it only took me two seconds to fall asleep. But even though I fell asleep quickly, my dream just started……….

In my dream I built an 8 foot tall robot named Atom. He was amazing. He could do anything and he was sooooo strong and he wanted to battle.

Every year a special rodeo would come to town where robots could battle to see who was the strongest, smartest and who had the most heart.

One day when Atom and I went to the country we saw an ad for a special rodeo. What a coincidence…….it was the Robot Rodeo. Atom wanted me to sign him up so we decided that’s exactly what we would do.

The next afternoon I took him to the Robot Rodeo. He was up against Zeus. He had held the title for the Robot Rodeo for as long as the rodeo had been taking place.

The battle began and Atom and Zeus started battling. All I could see were buttons flashing. Atom and Zeus where using their steel bodies to push and shove each other. I was excited to see the battle but I was worried about Atom because I didn’t want to see him destroyed.

Finally, Atom knocked Zeus’s robot head off and alarms started ringing. Atom was given a humungous trophy – he had now become the champion of the Robot Rodeo. I was feeling so happy that all of a sudden I woke up and realised it was all a dream. I felt sad that it was all a dream but it was the best dream ever!

My Dolphin Adventure

When swimming at the beach, I was carried away by friendly dolphins. They took me to visit a very special place. It was an underwater kingdom. It was very spectacular.

When I was there, I saw my friends Hansikaa and Ben. I didn’t know why they were there maybe they got dragged in the water by the dolphins? I didn’t have a clue about what was happening and I was feeling very confused.

When I looked closer at Ben, I realised that he looked different – he had turned into a DOLPLIN. But he could still speak and somehow breathe underwater. I began thinking to myself, this must be a dream!

All of a sudden, I saw a dolphin coming towards me. I realised that this dolphin didn’t look friendly and was about to attack me. With my magical powers I pointed to the dolphin and it did a somersault in the air and began swimming in the opposite direction. The bell of confusion was sounding in my head now!

I had to get out of here but how? I came up with a plan to get us all back to the beach. I held onto Ben and Hansikaa and waited for the perfect wave and rode it back to shore. When I looked at Ben he was gasping for air. Hansikaa was crying, “What just happened?” “It’s OK, we’re safe now and back at the beach!”

Just then, I heard someone yelling. “You are going to be late for school!” said mum. I opened my eyes and it was all just a dream.

Billy Jones’ Tickets

By the time I reached the entrance it was too late. The doors for the Billy Jones show were closed. “Noooooooooo!!! My life is ruined!” said Rylie. Come on, it’s not that bad. We can listen to it at home,” said James. “But it won’t be the same!” cried Rylie.

I had been waiting for a whole year to get to this event to see Billy Jones in action. He was the one, the only, BILLY JONES! He was the best gamer in the world – undefeated in fact and I had been waiting to see him in action for so long. He was my idol!

James and Rylie looked at each other disappointed. They decided that there was no point hanging around and began to walk off home.

All of a sudden, a voice yelled out at them. “What are you two doing?” As they turned around Rylie couldn’t believe his eyes. It was Billy Jones in the flesh.

I tried to talk but nothing was coming out of my mouth. “Biiiilllllyy Jooones, you are my idol!” “We tried to get into your show but the entrance doors closed before we could get in.” said Rylie.

“No worries at all – you two come with me. I’m going in the back entrance, you can come with!” I couldn’t believe it – we were with Billy Jones and he was taking us into the show.

“Well boys, this is where I say goodbye! Enjoy the show and may the force by with you!!!!”
