2017 Orientation Morning
In this month of November we continue to remember those we have lost. This prayer helps us to reflect on all those we love and care for.
Prayer for those who have died
God, Our Father, we remember in prayer those whom we have loved,
who have had a special place in our hearts and in our lives,
and are no longer here with us.
We thank you, Lord, for the time you have given us to share together the gift of life.
Comfort us through the memories our loved ones leave us.
May those memories give us courage for our journey into the future.
Grant them a place of peace and joy in Your Kingdom,
where there is no more suffering and no more grief.
And when each of us is called to depart from this life
may we be reunited with them in eternal happiness.
We make our prayer through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
The College was extremely saddened with the passing last Wednesday of Mr Phillip Crispe, father of Ronan in Year 6 and Quentin (Year 5, 2017) following a long battle with ill health. May perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Please keep the Crispe family in your prayers.
The College will hold its annual Remembrance Day Ceremony on Friday 11 November at 11.00am in the Junior School yard. Parents are welcome to join us.
Student Orientation Days were held last Thursday, Saturday and on Tuesday this week for new students in 2017 and they are a mighty group of enthusiastic young men. In every way we look forward to welcoming them to the College next year.
The College welcomed back the class of 1955-56 last Friday for their 60 year reunion from their time at St Pius X College. They are an extremely talented and loyal group of ex-students and we were proud to show them the College which has changed so much during that time.
